Last weekend William was helping at Cub camp so once he had finished work we drove up to Silverdale and dropped him off at Silverhelme campsite. It was a nice day so we went for a walk to Arnside Tower and Jenny Brown's Point.
Mark helped Luke with the map reading and we found a little cafe close to Arnside Tower where Luke had an ice cream and me and Mark had a lovely home-made cake.
When we reached Jenny Brown's Point the sea was in so we made our way across the rocks and eventually arrived back at Silverhelme. We had a really nice afternoon and we both said we should go to Silverdale more often as there are some lovely walks around the area.
