Naked Coco de Mer Body Butter Review

I don't know if you have tried Naked products before but if you haven't you really should! I recently tried the Coco de Mer bodybutter and loved it, it has a gorgeous fragrance that left my skin moisturised all day.

The minute you remove the lid you can smell the gorgeous fragrance of this body butter and once it is on your skin the fragrance lasts all day. The body butter is quite thick but it just seems to melt into my skin leaving it soft and moisturised but without feeling sticky or greasy. It has the feel of a luxury product but without the corresponding price tag.

So what do Naked say about it? Their description of the Coco de Mer body butter from their website is -

Heavily moisturising, for skin with an insatiable appetite, this body butter leaves your skin veiled in an intoxicating scent so you feel caressed day and night. This is no ordinary Body Butter, this is a Naked body butter.

I can't really add much more to this as it is such a perfect description! I did find that my colleagues noticed the fragrance and wanted to know what it was so I took the pot into work for them all to try and they all said how nice it was.

As it is such a good product you don't need to use a lot which means a pot will last for ages. At £4.99 for 300ml it is excellent value for money.

Flowers from the garden

Luke chose these flowers from the garden to put in a vase on the table. The sunflowers were about 3 feet tall and as I didn't have a vase that tall we had to cut them down a little. I think the petals on the sunflower look great, this one really does look like a sun!

The Sandcastle

On Saturday we visited The Sandcastle Waterpark at Blackpool. William is a member of The Junior Board which he really enjoys.

Whilst William was in his meeting me and Luke took the opportunity to go swimming and go on the slides. Luke's favourite part of the Sandcastle is the Ushi Gushi River Creek which has a current that takes you round in a loop. We swam round this most of the time we were at the Sandcastle!

Luke isn't old enough for the big slides so we go on the blue and yellow slides which are fun and not too scary!

Hotter Magazine

A few months ago we were lucky enough to be chosen to review some Hotter waterproof shoes. Mark tried the Thor shoes in mushroom and I tried the Ramble shoes in aubergine/cherryberry. We are featured in the autumn 2013 issue of the Hotter magazine which I have scanned above.

The shoes are so comfortable and well made and everyone loves the aubergine/cherry berry colour of my shoes. It it so nice to have a pair of colourful walking shoes as they are far more interesting than normal shoes and a real conversation starter as when we are walking with a group as I am frequently asked where I got my shoes from.

The shoes have had a thorough testing over the last few months with plenty of walks on the fells and local countryside and Mark's have hardly been off his feet this summer! They came with us to Canada where we did some cycling and plenty of walking. Probably the ultimate test of how waterproof they are is that Mark's feet were still dry after we had been on the log flume at Calaway Park in Calgary!

As we had such a lovely summer we didn't have many walks where the ground was wet but now that the weather has started to change we are looking forward to going on walks and returning with dry feet!

If you want well made, comfortable and stylish shoes then I would suggest that you have a look at the Hotter website, you really will be spoilt for choice.

Flowers

Mark was bag packing at Sainsburys with the Scouts on Sunday and spotted the lovely sunflowers. He bought them and then added some purple asters from the garden. They look lovely on the kitchen table.
