Inis- the energy of the sea review

A What's Good To Do Review

I love trying new beauty products so was thrilled to be asked to review the Inis travel set by What's Good To Do . Inis is not a brand I am familiar with so before it arrived I had a quick look at their website to find out a bit more. The description of Inis cologne on their website is “This exciting Irish Cologne for Men and Women is a seductive scent, embodying the coolness, clarity and purity of the sea. The fragrance evokes the male and female sides of each individual, combining the secrets of nature and creating a feeling of sensuality.”  This sounded perfect for me as I prefer fresh scents and love being by the sea so I couldn’t wait for it to arrive, fortunately I didn’t have long to wait!

The travel pack contains Refreshing Bath & Shower Gel with seaweed extract 85ml, Revitalising Body Lotion with seaweed extract and shea butter 85ml and Cologne spray 30ml. They are packed in a gift box with a beautiful image of Roundstone Beach, Connemara which looks absolutely stunning. They are the perfect size for popping in your wash bag when travelling and the cologne easily fits in my handbag.
I knew from the description on the website that I would love this cologne and from the minute I made the first spray I was hooked. The scent is pure and fresh and not in the least overpowering, which can be a problem with some other perfumes.  The bath & shower gel is a good consistency, not too runny where it slips through your fingers in the shower, and lathers well. The revitalising body lotion seems to just melt into my skin and leaves it lovely and soft, the lotion isn’t greasy at all and my skin loves it. I always find perfume lasts longer when layered with shower gel and body lotion and Inis is no exception.

As the cologne is for both men and women I let Mark try the cologne. Whilst he liked the fragrance he did comment that the bottle design was a little feminine so it’s perhaps not for a single man’s bathroom shelf!

I have received so many compliments since I started using these products and everyone wants to know what my new perfume is so I will certainly be buying Inis again.

The travel set costs £24.95.
