Easter Saturday was a lovely day so we decided to get our bikes out and go for a ride. Luke wanted to do a bit of off-roading so we compromised and decided to do part of the ride on the canal tow path. This proved to be incredibly muddy and covered in hedge clippings and almost impossible to ride so we only managed to ride to the next canal bridge where we re-joined the road.
We stopped off at a local farm shop for a drink and slice of cake which was absolutely delicious.
Unfortunately on the way back Luke had a puncture, probably due to all the hedge clippings on the tow path but Mark swiftly fixed it.
William got slightly further before his tyre started going down and ended up walking the last half mile. For once I was the first home!
