Luke was very excited on Tuesday night because when he came home from school he spotted the sheep in the field. We have overwintered sheep for many years now, these sheep have come from a farm on the fells and they usually arrive at the end of October and stay until March. Since Dad has been ill Luke has taken over looking after them and goes down the field on the quad to count them every other night. He also checks that they are all ok and none are stuck in the hedge. He really enjoys looking after them and we all like seeing them in the field.
